Canada Goose Postal Repair Process

Step 1. Send Us Your Garment

To ensure we can provide an accurate quotation, please post your Canada Goose coat or jacket to us via a tracked delivery service. Be sure to include a covering letter detailing your repair requirements, as well as your name, email address, phone number and return address.

Return postage is £20 within the UK.

Step 2. Assessment and Quotation
Once your garment arrives, one of our specialists will carefully assess it and send you a video explaining the recommended repair method, together with a detailed quotation for the work.
Step 3. Approval & Payment
If you’d like to proceed with the repairs, payment can be made via bank transfer. Once received, we’ll commence the repairs immediately.
Step 4. Repairs Commence
All repairs are completed within 7 days of payment.
Step 5. Final Inspection
Once finished, we will send you a video walkthrough of the work carried out for your approval.
Step 6. Return Delivery
Your repaired garment will be securely packaged and sent back to you using DPD’s tracked next‑working‑day delivery service. Please note that DPD does not deliver on Saturdays or Sundays.

Once your parcel has been dispatched, DPD will send you a text message containing a tracking link. This link provides real‑time updates, including the driver’s location and a one‑hour delivery window. You can also use it to change the delivery day or time if needed.

You can additionally track your parcel by visiting DPD Local’s Follow My Parcel service: https://track.dpdlocal.co.uk/ Simply enter your tracking number and postcode.

Yes, we offer next-day delivery via DPD for £20, available Monday through Friday. Once your item is ready, DPD will send you a text with the scheduled delivery date and a one-hour time window, so you’ll know exactly when to expect it. If you need your item delivered the same day, we can arrange local delivery within a 5-mile radius of our location for £50.

You can track your order anytime using our Order Status checker. When your order is created during your initial visit, our system will automatically send you a confirmation via text or email with your order number and fitting or collection date. Once your item is ready, you’ll receive another notification letting you know it’s available for pickup. If we complete the work ahead of schedule, you’ll have the option to collect your item earlier than planned.

Of course, you’re welcome to reschedule your fitting date at any time. You can do it yourself online using our convenient change appointment link, or simply email us and we’ll take care of it for you.

If you want to change your order - you should contact as soon as possible by email or phone. Despite us agreeing on a collection date with you we may start the work immediately after the order is taken so changes are not always possible if we have already started the work.

Unfortunately, we do not permit the consumption of food and drink at the appointment due to the risk of spillage which can make contact with clothing.

Unless you have chosen to have your items shipped to you, we recommend trying on your garments upon collection to ensure everything is perfect. If you’re unable to do so, you can return within 14 days, and we’ll repeat the agreed work free of charge. Please note that only the work specified on your order form will be repeated.

The customer is under an obligation to collect their garment(s) on the agreed collection date stated on their order form. If you want to change the collection date you can do so by using the change appointment link. Uncollected items may be disposed of after 90 days from the agreed collection date. Alterations Boutique Ltd, in such an event, will take reasonable steps to contact the customer using the contact details provided at the time the order was placed. If we are unable to contact the customer, we will not be held liable for any loss the customer may suffer.

Yes - you can send a courier or friend to collect your order. They should provide your order number, name and telephone number or we will be unable to release the order to them. Please note we recommend you collect the order yourself so you can check the order has been carried out correctly in accordance with your instructions. If you cannot you may return the items to re-altered or repaired within 14 days from the time of collection.

Most jackets and coats can be repaired, even when the damage looks significant. If anything is too extensive to fix, we’ll explain your choices and agree on the next steps together.

Canada Goose offers a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the original owner, but this doesn't cover most damage. Wear‑and‑tear, accidental damage, and alterations are not covered for example, but can still be repaired by us.
