We believe that small details like stitch pattern and thread colour make all the difference that is why we always try to retain the original finish. Unlike most places, we shorten trousers by hand so that the stitching is invisible from the outside. We can also accommodate any bespoke requests you might have like replacing belt loops with more traditional side adjusters or restyling your trousers.

At your appointment, you’ll select your collection date through our in-house system. We also offer same-day alterations and next-day services if needed. You will receive an automated text or email confirming your order number and fitting date. Once your trousers are ready for fitting, our system will notify you automatically via text or email. Alternatively, you can check your order status anytime using our online status checker. If we complete your order ahead of schedule, you’ll have the option to collect it sooner.
Certainly, we are able to take in or let out the waist for a better fit. Letting out trousers depends on the available seam allowance. Our tailors will be able to assess your trousers and advise you on what’s possible.
Absolutely! We can narrow the legs of your trousers for a more tailored, modern look while maintaining balance and proportion.
There’s no need to arrive at a specific time to collect your trousers. However, please ensure you’ve received an automated text or email confirming that your suit is ready before visiting. If you haven’t received this notification, please check the order status on our homepage to ensure it shows as "Completed." If it’s not marked as “Completed,” kindly wait until it is. Yes, for £20, we can ship your Trousers via DPD for next-day delivery, Monday to Friday. Once your item is ready, you’ll receive a text message from DPD with the delivery day and a one-hour time slot, so you’ll know exactly when to expect it. If you require same-day delivery, we can arrange shipping via Addison Lee within a 5-mile radius of our locations for £50.
In urgent cases, we offer a same-day alterations or next-day service, ensuring your garment is altered and returned to you promptly. Simply inform us of your requirements during your visit, and we will ensure your garment is ready when you need it.
Unfortunately, we only offer tailoring services. We do not provide a cleaning service and are unable to recommend one.
We accept Apple Pay, most Debit cards and Credit cards.
You can use the Order Status Checker. When we create your order during your first visit, our computer system will send you an automated text/email confirming your order number and fitting or collection date. Once your item is ready for collection, our system will automatically send you a text/email to notify you that your order is ready. This means that if we finish the work ahead of schedule, you will have the option to collect your order sooner.
Absolutely - you can change the fitting date yourself online using the change appointment link or you can send us an email and we can do it for you.
If you want to change your Trouser Alterations order - you should contact as soon as possible by email or phone. Despite us agreeing on a collection date with you we may start the work immediately after the order is taken so changes are not always possible if we have already started the work.
Unfortunately, we do not permit the consumption of food and drink at the appointment due to the risk of spillage which can make contact with clothing.
We understand you have a busy life but we recommend you try on your Trousers when you collect so that we can be absolutely sure everything is correct. If you do not have the time you can return within 14 days and we will repeat the work for you free of charge. Note that we will only repeat the work agreed on your order form.
The customer is under an obligation to collect their Trousers on the agreed collection date stated on their order form. If you want to change the collection date you can do so by using the change appointment link. Uncollected items may be disposed of after 90 days from the agreed collection date. Alterations Boutique Ltd, in such an event, will take reasonable steps to contact the customer using the contact details provided at the time the order was placed. If we are unable to contact the customer, we will not be held liable for any loss the customer may suffer.
Yes - you can send a courier or friend to collect your Trousers. They should provide your order number, name and telephone number or we will be unable to release the order to them. Please note we recommend you collect the Trousers yourself so you can check the order has been carried out correctly in accordance with your instructions. If you cannot you may return the items to re-altered or repaired within 14 days from the time of collection.
If you’re unable to visit our location in person, we offer a convenient mail-in option for repairs only. Please note, we are unable to offer a trouser alterations service by post, as our trained tailors need to take accurate measurements.
